Myriad Monitor Limited operates BuildView and is responsible for personal information used to administer accounts, enquiries, billing and the service. For project imagery, the customer may also be the controller responsible for deciding why and how images are captured and used.

We may collect account details, contact information, organisation and project associations, support enquiries, billing records, login and audit information, device and browser data, uploaded files and project imagery.

We use information to provide and secure BuildView, manage accounts and projects, deliver support, process enquiries and payments, improve the service, maintain records, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.

Construction images may incidentally include people, vehicles or neighbouring property. Access is restricted to authorised users. Customers should position cameras appropriately and manage signage, notices and other privacy obligations applicable to their site.

Depending on the context, we process information to perform a contract, pursue legitimate business and security interests, comply with legal obligations or act on consent where consent is the appropriate basis.

We may use trusted hosting, email, payment, storage, monitoring and technical service providers. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary and do not sell personal information.

Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we use appropriate safeguards required by data protection law.

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the service, legal obligations, security, disputes and agreed project retention. More detail is available on our Data Retention page.

Depending on the law and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to receive certain information in portable form. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
