Professional site capture

A wider, clearer view of the whole project.

BuildView uses professional outdoor cameras selected for useful construction coverage—not basic webcams or disposable time-lapse devices.

Quality that serves the project

High resolution matters. The right view matters more.

Our standard panoramic camera combines an 8-megapixel image with a wide 180-degree horizontal view. That allows one carefully positioned camera to capture more of the site while preserving the detail needed for progress comparison, close inspection and finished video.

The aim is not to publish an impressive specification list. It is to produce clear, consistent imagery that remains useful across months of changing weather, light and construction activity.

Wide panoramic coverage

Dual-lens image stitching creates a broad site view and reduces the number of missed areas from a suitable position.

Useful image detail

An 8-megapixel image provides room for closer viewing, comparison and high-quality video production.

Changing light conditions

Wide dynamic range helps balance bright skies, reflective surfaces and shaded parts of the site.

Low-light performance

Enhanced colour and low-light capability help maintain useful imagery as natural light changes.

Technical overview

Enough detail to understand the quality.

The exact camera or mounting arrangement may change where a site requires a different solution, but the standard BuildView specification is built around these practical capabilities.

256GB standard for BuildView Security, with an optional 512GB upgrade

For timelapse

One panorama, several useful views.

The complete panoramic image is retained while focused project views can be created for specific areas. A stable camera position keeps both the full record and selected views consistent as the site changes.

For optional security

The same camera can do more.

BuildView Security uses motion or smart-event recording rather than continuous recording as the standard arrangement. A 256GB card is standard, with a 512GB upgrade available for £25 + VAT per camera. Recording duration varies with activity, bitrate and configured zones.

A note about megapixels

More pixels do not fix a poor installation.

Camera height, direction, lens coverage, scaffolding, sunlight and the future shape of the site all affect the result. BuildView combines suitable hardware with practical camera positioning so the image remains useful throughout the build.

Let us assess the view before work advances.

An early discussion helps avoid scaffolding, temporary buildings or completed finishes blocking the best long-term position.
